Elmendorf airforce base had a recent open house/airshow and we went to check it out. We got to go inside of several planes, watch the Canadian version of the Blue Angels (the Snow Geese), and see a harrier jump-jet in action. It was all pretty loud, so we brought the head phones.
Kaya is 6 months old tomorrow! Such a happy baby!
Despite the lack of sun this summer, our garden is doing fabulous. Our strawberry plants are producing, we have new raspberry bushes, carrots are getting huge, and "wild"flowers are sprouting up every where. Here are a few photos from the garden.

We were briefly in Anchorage for a pregnancy induction that ended up not being necessary- a good thing. Looks like we missed each other at Arctic Thunder- only ran inyo Gina Senko. Back in Bethel waiting for #3 and apparently suffering from insomnia this morning.

Wow, that carrot is huge! I have trouble getting carrots to grow well; our soil is really thick clay.
